Qualitative Research
I conducted qualitative research by interviewing 10 potential and regular customers of the restaurant. The interviewed people were:
- People with middle-eatsern roots
- Well-traveled people who appreciared foreign food
Interview Questions
- What do they apprceiate about eating out in a restaurant with foreign food?
- How often do they eat at restaurants?
- How often do they have take-away food? In which situations they take out food or eat out at the restaurant?
- What information sources do they currently use to choose a restaurant to visit?
- How far in advance do they make their reservations?
- Do they eat foreign food themeselves or with friends and family

Key Findings
They primarily use their friend's and family advice to choose a restautant with foreign food.
They normaly plan their visit to the resurant a week in advance.
They eat out on average 2 to 3 times a month.
They eat take away food 3 to 4 times a month.
They normally go to restaurants with friends and family.
They normally have take away food when they are not with friends or family.
Ideation
Combinatorics
Cabinatorics is technique to define the general direction of the profuct.
What is it?
It is like a restaurant website, without guessing what the ingredients are, plus they can see reviews and order food online and pick it up at the restaurant.
How might we?
This questions helps to see the main problem giving some perspective on what needs to be done to solve it.
My questions was:
- How might we make it more convenient for people appreciating foreign food to make a choice in the food and restaurant they are going to eat at?
- How we might make it easy for them to order and pick up the food?
