Today was a tough day. As soon as I got on the road it started raining like crazy. My gear stood for a good test of waterproofness. And they passed. Fortunately it was not cold, so I survived the rain fine. I was so happy though to get to a warm, dry and comfortable hotel room. It is amazing to see how much you would appreciate a bed and a roof over your head after 9 days of sleeping in a small tent.
It was a long day today. Tomorrow a shorter bike trip down to Bourg-en-Bresse. Hopefully I arrive early on to hang out in the city and play tourist. And I have another hotel stay to look forward to.
