A sleepless night last night. As soon as I settled in my tent the sky went dark and it started to storm. So, pretty much the whole night hard rain and wind was bashing against my tent. Even though my tent survived the storm I could not get much sleep. Early in the morning it stopped and I was just in time to pack my gear before it started raining again. Not a good start.
Luckily soon after I got on the road it stopped raining and as I approached the Spanish border it cleared up. After a sleepless night I was glad I only had around 60 kilometres to bike.
It was an easy ride mostly on a bicycle paths. I had my breakfast on the beach before I took inland towards Spain. After a few hours I arrived at Camping Val Roma Park. A peaceful and beautiful campsite. It will be my last stay at campsites during this trip. The upcoming two nights I will enjoy comfortable beds and nice showers at hotels. The countdown has started.
