I can’t believe I am gonna say this, but today was pretty warm. Maybe even too warm for pushing through the sleep hills of south France. The destination was very rewarding though. I arrived early afternoon at the camping Le Soleil Fruité with not one but multiple swimming pools. I was first thinking of pushing further south but I am so glad I did not. After puffing for more than 6 hours in the sun jumping into the refreshing swimming pool was sooooo nice. And a giant cold beer after made it even better.
I have this crazy idea of arriving in Barcelona a day earlier than planned. That means going for a new record tomorrow. I am thinking 120 kilometres! We will see how it goes.
